The Shri Rajput Karni Sena on Friday announced it has decided to take back its protest against the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmaavat“, stating the movie glorifies the valour of the Rajputs.Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena’s Mumbai leader Yogendra Singh Katar said that on the directions of organisation’s national President Sukhdev Singh Gogamadi, a few members watched the movie in Mumbai on Friday, and found that that the movie glorifies the valour and sacrifice of Rajput. But now the Karni Sena wants to diversify its protest and wants to see the answer sheets of History exams to check whether the students are distorting history or not.
Karni Sena wants its members to be on their toes throughout the year so that they are ready to protest any movie, incident or event which distorts Rajput history. They have decided that a dedicated number of volunteers will go to schools and colleges to keep an eye on the history exams and what students are writing in the answer sheets. This announcement has made the students scared of the outcome if they write a wrong answer and many students were seen taking extra tuitions for the history paper. The tuition classes have increased workforce and have hired many history proffessos to cater to the ever growing demand.
Karni Sena has also hired many educated Rajputs who know a lot about Rajput history and any student caught distorting history will be taken outside the exam hall and thrashed. Parents are happy with the Karni Sena move as they think that this type of threat will make their children study more and become better students. Teachers in all schools have been advised to teach proper history or else even their jobs will be in threat.
