New Delhi. Former Union minister Chinmayanand, arrested in connection with a sexual assault case filed by a postgraduate student, was admitted to a hospital in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow on Monday for treatment. In fact, all politicians get admitted to the hospital first after getting arrested.

There is no example of a leader or politician who directly goes to jail. In fact, nowadays, CBI is providing a package for a stipulated amount of stay in a hospital before going to jail for all arrested politicians. But in a shocking story covered today, a Politician in UP did not complain of chest pain or any kind of pain and was willing to go straight to the jail. he even accepted the allegations on him and wanted to cooperate with the investigative agencies.

But this did not go down well with the CBI as the officers felt that the politician was going through mental trauma and hence was behaving in a manner unheard of. Shwetank Srivastava, the politician who made history with his behavior today, is admitted to hospital and is treated for his mental condition. Shwetank told our reporters that he has been forcefully kept inside the hospital and wants to go to jail. CBI officers are not willing to give in to his demands and will only take him to jail once he is fully recovered.
