The year 2020 has seen its fair share of major historic events in a little over four months. But that was not the case when people were celebrating to welcome 2020. They partied hard and saw many dreams to fulfill in 2020. One such group of youngsters in Mumbai who celebrated the 31st night in Taj are demanding a refund from the hotel. Many other youngsters are also doing the same in other cities.

The refund value is almost 5-6 percent of the GDP and it will be tough for the hotel industry to cough up such a huge amount as a business is already down. Sanil, Shwetank, Jagdish, and Gauto who had celebrated the 31st night with great enthusiasm are all locked up in their respective places and have started an online petition to demand a refund of their celebrations as 2020 turned out completely different from what they had expected.

Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to bring a bill to let the youngsters be compensated in some other form if monetary compensation is not possible.
