Mumbai. Abey Kuruvilla has hit out at BCCI for selecting Sunil Joshi as the chief selector. According to Abey, he has a poor record than Sunil and he deserved a chance. The BCCI selector has to be someone who has less knowledge of cricket and has less talent compared to other cricketers.

Kuruvilla spoke to Faking News and said “I did not perform well so that I can become selector someday, but now my efforts are not being appreciated. This is pure insult. In fact, even Debashish Mohanty deserved a chance. I deserve more as my pace was also less. BCCI should reconsider their decision. No one will trust in BCCI anymore. Dada should look into it.”

Former India left-arm spinner Sunil Joshi has been named chairman of selectors while Harvinder Singh has also been added to the five-man panel, BCCI announced on Wednesday.

Joshi and Harvinder will join Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh, and Jatin Paranjape, who will finish their term later this year, in the selection committee.
