WHO asks Steve Smith and David Warner to teach people how to pass the quarantine time

24, Mar 2020 By Santosh Pradhan

Steven Smith and David Warner, formerly captain and vice-captain of Australia, were banned from playing international and domestic cricket for 12 months by Cricket Australia for their roles in the sandpaper incident in South Africa.

Well, their punishment will be useful for many people in the world during the quarantine time. The WHO director has asked Steve Smith and David Warner to make short videos on how they spent time during their isolation period from cricket. It would have been pretty tough for Steve and David to be away from cricket for so long. So they are kind of the best people to teach people how to get engaged in other activities and how to develop other hobbies.

Steve Smith has returned well to cricket claiming the top spot in Test batting rankings. This shows how even after a quarantine period, one can come back stronger and even more efficiently in some cases. Steve Smith has already started making the videos and Warner will follow soon.

In India, the task has been given to Stuart Binny and Suresh Raina who spend a lot of time at home during the normal cricket season.
