Daboo Ratnani, the famous photographer well known for his  portfolios of many bollywood celebrities has applied for the post of Indian coach’s job.

As we all know, Anil Kumble has resigned from the post of the coach of the Indian Cricket Team after the drama following India’s debacle at the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. BCCI as a result, is looking out for options to replace Kumble.

Roshan Thapa, the media executive of BCCI on Sunday spoke to FN and mentioned that out of many unusual CVs, there was a CV of Fashion photographer Daboo Ratnani. Thapa further said they will considering him for the prestigious job.

Our reporter then approached Daboo and this is what he had to say, “I have been following Anil’s style of coaching for quite a while, and I think I have what it takes to coach the Indian Team i.e a good digital camera to capture photos just like Anil Kumble.”

He further added that he can help India in foreign tours as he has a good experience of photography in different climates of West Indies, England, South Africa.

Though the road for Daboo is not so clear, he has a cut throat competition with Vijay Mallya due to his running abilities and Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh due to his all round display of talent.

Team India is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in July 2017 so BCCI has to declare a coach before it. Let’s hope that the best man takes the pie.
