Ahmedabad. Two things that are running Indian cricket are the spectators and the billboards of Gutkha companies. All stadiums in India are full of Gutkha company boards during the live match.
But the Motera stadium is so big that the current number of gutkha companies is not enough to cover the stadium, hence the government gave urgent approval to start 10 more gutkha companies as India cannot show any part of Motera without the gutkha hoardings, that will be an insult to the sport.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter on Tuesday to share an aerial view of the “world’s largest cricket stadium”. The Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad is said to have a seating capacity of over 1,10,000.
The new gutkha companies have limited time to shoot their Ad campaigns, print the banners and start putting it out in Motera before the start of the IPL season. The boards will not be visible during the Trump visit, but as soon as he leaves the stadium, the officials have been ordered to analyze the spaces properly and put the hoardings in the best possible way.
