New Delhi: Cheteshwar Pujara’s 123 at Adelaide Oval on Day 1 of the first Test stands out. Not because these were the most difficult conditions he has ever faced but because he was the only one who delivered when his teammates, including captain Virat Kohli, failed.

Pujara’s defense has been the talk of the town since last two days, and finally, a player who had lots of potential has come off age.

Pujara’s skills will now be used by the government to defend its decision of demonetization. Government tries hard since last 2 years to defend the decision but the people seem to not take the government seriously.

They need some more solidity and reasoning to convince the masses. Pujara’s defense against some of the best fast bowling in the world has surely not gone unnoticed and the government will try t cash in on the experience that Pujara possesses.

The Finance Ministry is in talks with the Indian batsman to schedule a meeting just after India finishe the Australian tour. The good thing for the government is that Pujara will be totally free when India players will be busy in IPL and also the world cup so this time could be utilized in defending demonetization.
