Bengaluru. India’s strategy may not have worked in the first T20I on Sunday, but the Men in Blue are willing to learn from their mistakes as they take on Australia in the 2nd T20I at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Indian team was seen working very hard in the nets and even in the gym. But you will be surprised to know the reason behind this intensive training. The players are working hard to be able to lift Umesh Yadav and get him out of the ground after 19 overs so that he is not able to bowl the 20th over.

Umesh has not improved as a white ball bowler and that has harmed India in many matches. Virat Kohli wants to make sure that Umesh Yadav should not be on the field after the 19th over. Because if he is on the field, Kohli might be attracted towards giving him one over. Even in the last match, Kohli even though not wanting to give Umesh the last over finally had no other alternative. Players like Dhoni, Virat, Shikhar, and KL were seen doing intensive training as Umesh is a tough guy to lift.

Even Sunil Gavaskar agrees with the team management and said ” Umesh Yadav, despite being around for such a long time, is not convincing as a white-ball bowler, so India could well do with a replacement for him.
