Mumbai. In a dramatic turn of events, former captain Sourav Ganguly emerged as a consensus candidate to be BCCI’s new President after Brijesh Patel appeared to have grabbed the coveted post. Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah will be the new secretary. Jay Shah has no experience of cricket and yet got the chance, meanwhile another person with links to the BJP, Mr. Akash Vijayvargiya has appealed to the BCCI that he be selected as an opener.

BCCI held an emergency meeting to look into Akash’s claims and his record does prove that he can be the backup opener for India in tests. Akash has a proven track record when he used the straight drive to perfect use in beating up a civic official. Akash’s skills were seen by fans on national Tv and people do believe that he has a lot to contribute to Indian Cricket.

Sourav Ganguly who has a knack of picking and giving chance to youngsters has also supported the claim and said ” If Jay Shah gets an opportunity in cricket, Akash also must get it so that people can know about transparency levels of the BCCI functioning.

Ravi Shastri, whose own cricket knowledge is a question mark has supported Akash’s claims and assured the BCCI that he will work hard on his techniques and make him a world-class player just like KL Rahul.
