Auckland. Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri blamed KL Rahul for the poor performance of Shivam Dube. According to the team management, KL Rahul refused to learn bowling due to which Dube had to be given one over which went for plenty. The team was very upset with KL Rahul’s gesture as he did not show the team spirit.
During the fifth T20I encounter between India and New Zealand, Shivam Dube was taken to task by Tim Seifert and Ross Taylor in the tenth over where he ended up conceding 34 runs. This was the most runs conceded by an India bowler when it comes to T20Is.
Kohli and Shastri had asked KL Rahul to bowl a few overs in the nets but he refused saying that he doesn’t know bowling. This was the reason Shivam had to be kept in the team and his performance had Indian fans’ hearts in the mouth as the match went close. Shivam Dube calls himself an all-rounder but he doesn’t have any documents to prove it.
In fact, his performances have proved that he was a liar and the team management has asked Amit Shah to bring a new law where a person has to prove through documents that he is an all-rounder.
