Kohli makes a Sunil Chettri type emotional video as Fifa World cup leaves no viewers for the Ireland series

28, Jun 2018 By Santosh Pradhan

After blockbuster knocks from Indian openers, spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal spun their web around the Irish batsmen as India thumped the hosts by a mammoth 76-run margin in the first T20I in Dublin. But interesting was the fact that the stadium was empty and even in India no one took notice of the match. People were too busy in the Germany match at the Fifa World Cup 2018. The Fifa world cup has taken away all cricket viewership and Virat Kohli, the Indian captain worries for dwindling crowd in the coming matches against England too. Finally, he found a solution today and made a Suil Chetrri type video requesting the Indian fans to please watch the series.

Sunil Chhetri, the Indian football team skipper, made an emotional appeal to football fans across the country, asking them to fill the stadiums in recently concluded  Intercontinental Cup 2018 and support the home team. Sunil received a tremendous response for the video and people really filled the stadium up to its brink. According to Virat Kohli’s video, people should come to see Ireland series and criticize the team if they want. It is the fans support which the team needs for the England series ahead. To show more innocence in the video, Kohli also took some shots of Chahal and Kuldeep who have been performing well but not receiving good viewership from the Indian crowds back home.

Dhoni as usual figures in the ending part of the video but finishes off the video in style by some of his signature dialogues. Hardik Pandya was also supposed to figure in the video but he was so busy in his makeup and hair styling that the video was shot before he was even ready to feature. faking News team is trying hard to get hands on the video and will report as soon as we find it.
