Looking at Karnataka Assembly’s ability to constantly delay trust vote, BCCI will outsource Dhoni retirement decision to them

Bengaluru. A miffed Karnataka Assembly Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar on Monday night set 6 pm on Tuesday as the last deadline for the floor test to prove majority by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in the House. This has been the 4th or the 5th time there is a delay in the trust vote and now there are chances that it may get delayed again.

BCCI is very impressed with how the Karnataka lawmakers are delaying the much important decision and has decided to give the Dhoni retirement question to the assembly to resolve.

BCCI was tired by reporters constantly asking about Dhoni’s retirement and his current role in the team. MSK Prasad has already said that a legend like Dhoni will take a call on his retirement and selectors can do nothing in this regard. MSK Prasad can breathe a sigh of relief as now all the Dhoni related questions will be asked to the Karnataka Assembly and he will be spared.

It is not yet clear that when will the new Karnataka government start functioning, but it is sure that the first thing they will discuss after the formation of the government is about Dhoni’s retirement and Vijay Shankar’s future in the team.
