Melbourne. After he successfully made a U-turn on the issue of Gurunath Meiyappan controlling Chennai Super Kings, former Australian batsman and CSK opener Michael Hussey has revealed that he had taken coaching classes from Mulayam Singh Yadav to achieve this feat.

It should be recalled that earlier Hussey had stated in his book that N Srinivasan had handed over the reins of CSK to his son-in-law.

According to sources, initially Hussey was not worried about the repercussions, but gradually he became worried when he was warned that he could be ignored by CSK franchise in the upcoming IPL auctions.

With IPL being his lone source of income after he had announced retirement from international matches, Hussey realized that he was facing a hit-wicket like situation.

When somebody told him about what they did to Lalit Modi, Mr. Cricket panicked and started looking for solutions. He immediately approached U-turn specialist Mulayam Singh Yadav on how to convincingly backtrack from your earlier statements, and Samajwadi party leader was more than ready to oblige.

“He belongs to the minority community, so I gave him tips,” Netaji confirmed to Faking News. However, later he clarified that for the first time in his life, he didn’t mean religion when he said “minority community”.

“Hussey belongs to a community that is fighting against N Srinivasan,” Netaji explained.

Hussey too confirmed that politics saved his cricketing career.

“After having played in India so much, I am more aware of the local politics here than Australia. I have always been an ardent admirer of how Mulayam ji manages to completely retract time and again from the most impossible situations. So it was not difficult to decide whom to approach for help,” the left-handed batsman told our reporter.

“To bring the best out of himself, Mulayam ji requested N Srinivasan if he could ask CBI to go after me. As the CBI was in picture, U-turn came automatically,” said Hussey, now hoping to now get a clean chit from BCCI panel.

Sources say that Mulayam Singh Yadav didn’t give these tips for free. In return, he too wants some tips from Hussey.

“Netaji was impressed with the fact that Hussey batted with left-hand while bowled with right-hand. This is something he wants to learn from the cricketer – playing both the left-wing and right-wing politics,” a Samajwadi Party source revealed.
