Rajasthan Royals thinking of making Jaydev Unadkat their captain after watching Pollard's innings

Mumbai. Kieron Pollard’s match-winning 83-run propelled Mumbai Indians to a three-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday. KL Rahul (100 of 64) and Chris GayleRahul who struck a 36-ball 63 powered Punjab to 197/4. But it was Pollard’s solo effort that brought his side back in the game.

Pollard’s innings has given a great idea to the Rajasthan Royals team who are performing terribly in this years IPL.

Jaydev Unadkat who is their star player, but a non-performing player since the last two years has been in very bad form. But Pollard was also in bad form until yesterday when he was made the captain of the side. RR management is thinking of making Jaydev the captain of the side so that he can return to some form. He has been giving over 40 runs in almost all matches and RR think that making him captain would at least give him some responsibility and motivation to perform well.

The other teams which can also follow this example are RCB who can make all their players captains one by one as almost everyone is underperforming there. CSK is probly the only team which will never do this type of thing as their captain is actually the underperforming player and hence the best captain of IPL.
