Mumbai. India announced their 15-man squad for the ICC World Cup 2019, to be played in the UK from May 30, 2019. Virat Kohli will lead the squad, which was announced in Mumbai on Monday. While there were no major surprises in the 15, the inclusion of Dinesh Karthik was the notable factor and Rishabh Pant was the surprise exclusion.

Ambati Rayadu who was certain to retain his no 4 position also missed out and it seemed like a harsh decision. But Rishabh Pant is still hopeful of his selection as the squad will be announced today on Doordarshan.

Pant’s family will be keen to know the future of their kid and they are watching Doordarshan since today morning. The squad will be released at around 3 PM and all fingers are crossed for Pant’s selection. Ambati Rayadu has lost all hopes as he believes that he has no chance of making it to the squad unless someone gets injured.

The TRPs for Doordarshan has reached an all-time high as fans across the nation are eagerly watching doordarshan today to know about Pant’s fate. Virat Kohli, who was present yesterday in the selecton meeting also wants to make sure if there are some squad changes in the squad which will be announced on Doordarshan.
