Mumbai. Virat Kohli did a clean sweep on all major prizes that were on offer at the ICC Awards. He won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year, the Test Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year awards in addition to being declared captain of both the ODI and Test teams of the year. But Sachin fans are still not impressed with Virat Kohli. According to the fans they will consider Kohli great only after he wins the Koffee hamper on Karan Johar’s show.
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul attended the Koffee hamper and performed so well that they took the Koffee hamper home. Sachin fans feel that the epitome of all prizes in cricket is the Koffee hamper as you are under severe pressure in the show, pressure that is much more compared to that in the middle of the pitch. Sachin fans will recognize Kohli’s contribution to cricket only after he wins the Koffee hamper. And going by what happened to Pandya and Rahul’s career after they appeared on the TV show, it seems unlikely that Kohli would attend the show. And that means that Sachin fans will always consider Kohli to be after Sachin in terms of milestones and greatness.
Ravi Shastri is trying hard to convince Kohli to appear on Karan’s show as that is the only award missing from the skipper’s bag.
