Mumbai. The process of Air India’s sale got off to a start on Tuesday, with the government approving a draft document inviting expressions of interest to be issued before the month-end, a senior official said on condition of anonymity.

But Air India has meanwhile laid out plans to improve customer service. As part of the plans, Air India passengers will be sent to the Indigo flights so that they can enjoy great service. Indigo is known for the best customer service experience and hence Air India decided to take its help to make its passengers happy.

So the process as conveyed by the Air India management is simple. Passenger will book an Air India flight. And while boarding they will be sent to the Indigo flight and will enjoy all the Indigo services right till they get down at their destination.

Though the process looks simple on paper, the management is working towards using technology to make it as smooth as possible. Indigo will have to start more services to meet this growing demand, but going by their records this seems to be a cakewalk for the flight major.
