Mumbai. Masked men and women armed with sticks, rods and acid unleashed violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Sunday night. The group of masked men attacked students and teachers and damaged property on the campus.

The attackers have not yet been arrested by the police and the inaction is inviting lot of criticism for the police. PUBG has taken inspiration from these masked attackers and has added JNU mask in its features after wearing which the attackers in the game cannot be arrested or killed. The JNU mask requires a high level of talent to attain in the game and the players have to be experienced enough to get it.

Masks are a type of equipment in Battlegrounds. As of now there were no items in this category that provide capacity or protection. But the JNU mask will give attackers the protection required to go further in the game and attain Chicken Dinner. The initial response for the mask among the gamers has been positive and a pilot run will be done between few gamers.

Once the game runs smooth and players feel that it isn’t hampering normal progression, it will then be inculcated throughout the PUBG ecosystem.
