CBI sends dvds of 'Gangajal' and 'Apaharan' to convince Mallya that Indian jails have 5-star facilities

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly sent UK authorities a video of the barrack where defunct Kingfisher Airlines’ former owner Vijay Mallya will be lodged. But on further investigation, it was found that those videos were the footages from the movies ‘Gangajal’ and ‘Apaharan’. Sunder Yadav in Gangajal and Ajay Shastri in Apaharan had some of the best facilities available inside the jail and they, in fact, had a better lifestyle inside the jail premises than outside of it.

Vijay Mallya wants to be doubly sure that the facilities he gets are no less than any 5-star hotel and the CBI has promised that they will give him the best facilities. TV, Gym, Fridge, Wi-Fi and a small auditorium to watch movies are some facilities listed out by the CBI. Mallya is highly impressed after watching both the DVDs and became highly emotional after that. He sent a letter of apology to CBI saying that he never knew Indian jails have progressed so much over the years.

Prakash Jha has been given the task of convincing Mallya even more than anything he wants can be made available inside a jail in India. And Bihar jails are number 1 in this regard. Mallya also wants to stay in a Bihar jail and has requested for the same. The UK authorities are also so impressed with Indian jails after watching both DVDs that they have called the art director of both the movies to design few jail cells in UK too.

It seems like the CBI has finally convinced UK authorities to send Mallya to India and it is just a matter of time when he is brought back to India.
