China has warned it will take necessary measures to teach India a lesson for allowing Dalai Lama to visit certain places within India without taking their prior approval.

As part of its first countermeasure, China has nominated Pakistan born Masood Azhar who is on top of India’s most wanted list, as the next president for BRICS development bank, headquartered in Shanghai, China.

BRICS development bank (now known as New Development Bank) was started in July 2014 by five countries who represent BRICS (Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa) to work for the development for its constituent members. With the bank’s first ever president Mr. K.V. Kamath from India due for retirement later this year, on rotation basis the next President will be someone from China. Masood Azhar, who was born in Pakistan has been given honorary citizenship of China so that there are no issues for him in becoming head of BRICS development bank.

A close aide of Masood Azhar while speaking to us from an unknown location in Pakistan said, “It’s a great moment for us. After years of struggle, there is recognition for all the hard work Masood Bhai and his team has put up over the years.”

“Glad to know funds will not be a problem for us. After Pakistan economy, has completely collapsed, it has been a terrible time for us in raising funds for our activities. On top of it, India wanted to add our innocent Masood Bhai to UN list of designated terrorists so that there is travel ban on him and whatever little assets we have created is frozen. All these buggers like US, UK, France are supporting India. Agar China Nahin Hota to Humara Kya Hota,” said the close aide of Azhar.

When we asked, what is Masood Bhai’s plan after taking over, the close aide said, “No change. India will always remain our focus. Masood Bhai will keep a close tab on the ‘developments’ that happens in India.”
