Turin Police have registered two separate cases against medical professional Munnabhai MBBS after he swam to Italy to ‘personally prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus’.
In an official statement, police said that an on-duty officer spotted Munnabhai delivering a tight hug to an old man, who was squirming and protesting in Italian. Munnabhai, who claims to understand the language but cannot, responded by saying, ‘Bilkul. Aaj se mast rehneka.’
On being confronted by the cop for flouting isolation norms and generally being in Italy, Munnabhai charged at him with open arms and embraced him as well, assuring him that, ‘Main teri dil ki baat samajhta hai. Le corona jhappi. Apni ma ka khayaal rakh, wo tere bina kaise jiyegi re?’
Both the officer and the old man are currently in isolation wards, having tested positive for the COVID-19 virus after their encounter with Munnabhai.
The beloved Indian was restrained after much drama which lasted over 40 minutes. When water cannoned, Munnabhai simply stripped to his underwear and whipped out a bar of soap; when threatened with a police baton, he asserted,’Is college ka dada hoon main and challenged the district magistrate to a game of ‘singles carrom’.
For harassing the elderly and spreading a deadly disease, Munnabhai faces up to ten years in a foreign prison. ‘These charges are malicious and baseless,’ said his lawyer, ‘LLB’, who bears a striking resemblance to his client.
