Seoul: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been awarded the Seoul Peace Prize for 2018. While the official reason given is that it has been awarded for ‘Modinomics’ for reducing social and economic disparity between the rich and the poor, an insider has revealed that it is not the actual reason for the award. A South Korean source has revealed that the award is given to PM Modi for his peaceful silence despite 5 years of provocation by his own party’s MP Shatrughan Sinha.

Speaking to Faking News on the condition of anonymity, our South Korean source said, “We have noticed that ever since Mr. Sinha was side-lined by PM Modi after the 2014 elections, he has been trying to provoke PM Modi and trying to initiate a fight. Not only did PM Modi avoid the fight, he did so by maintaining a totally peaceful silence.”

“Our committee has been observing this behavior for the past 5 years. First Mr. Sinha started praising his then rival Mr. Nitish Kumar constantly. After Nitish Kumar once again allied with BJP, Mr. Sinha shifted to praising Tejaswi Yadav, Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, and pretty much anyone against PM Modi while constantly criticising every step taken by the PM and his party. Itni ungli hone ke baad to bande ko gussa aa hi jata hai, but PM Modi didn’t get into a fight with him so we thought he totally deserves this award”, our Korean source went on to add.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has sent a notice to PMO stating that any award money will be taxed as per Indian IT rules and there won’t be any exemption.
