Islamabad: Pakistan Government today decided to honor famous Pakistani social worker terrorist Hafiz Saeed after hearing about his inspirational leadership qualities from David Headley.
David Headley, who conspired with the Lashkar-e-Taiba in plotting the 2008 Mumbai attacks, said earlier today that Hafiz Saeed’s lectures inspired him to join Lashkar and become a terrorist. Once Pakistan Government heard about this, they decided to felicitate Hafiz Saeed for his teachings and inspirational leadership.
One of our sources in Pak Government speaking to us on the condition of anonymity said, “As Pakistan government, we are committed to rewarding excellence in terrorism around the world. Without good teachers, we can’t have good terrorists so it is very important that we recognize the contribution of these scholars. Now that we know Hafiz Saeed is inspiring such dangerous terrorists then we must honor him appropriately.”
“We will be rewarding him with a bungalow in Abbottabad, 24X7 Pakistan army protection and 10% of the next installment of money we get from USA. As it is nobody is claiming a 10% cut since Mr Zardari left. Hopefully, this will inspire more people to take up terrorism as a serious profession and not just as a hobby. We need more people to join LeT and lead the fight against India.” Our source added.
Experts see this as a significant shift in Pakistan Government stand where they have started giving state awards to non-state actors.
India has reacted very angrily to this state patronage of terrorists by Pakistan. Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar said that he already has a 1,000 page dossier ready that will be air dropped over Islamabad at the first available opportunity.
Meanwhile, Hafiz Saeed has said that he will accept the monetary reward but looking at the history, will decline the house in Abbottabad.
