After US demands hydroxychloroquine from India, govt asks Shashi Tharoor to demand something more complex from the US

New Delhi. Flooded with requests for hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug that has been touted as a potential “game-changer” for Covid-19 patients by US President Donald Trump, India on Tuesday decided to relax the complete ban placed on its export on Saturday.

But now India wants to use this opportunity to demand something more complex from the US. And for this, they will take the help of Shashi Tharoor. Shashi has a habit of using the most complex of English terms which are understood only by a few people. Sometimes not understood by anyone.

The situation is very similar to when Shashi Tharoor in May of 2017 tweeted, “Exasperating farrago of distortions” which quickly became a meme, right after. Shashi has the capability to put the US on a sticky wicket. He can help the Indian government to demand something so complex that even the US starts feeling a bit guilty as they don’t have the product or in this case, they don’t even understand the product name. Shashi is busy coming up with such terms and has promised the external affairs ministry that he will definitely help them.
